1.	स्पोरोफाइट foot, seta एवं capsule में विभाजित रहता है।	स्पोरोफाइट foot, intermediate Zone एवं capsule में विभाजित रहता है।
2.	यह मादा receptacle की नीचे वाली सतह पर लटका रहता है।	बहुत-से स्पोरोफाइट थैलस की dorsal सतह पर गुच्छों में लगे रहते हैं।
3.	प्रारम्भिक अवस्थाओं में स्पोरोफाइट कुछ परतों से घिरा रहता है जैसे perigy- nium एवं perichaetium आदि।	स्पोरोफाइट का केवल नीचे का भाग ही involucre से घिरा रहता है।
4.	Foot काफी विकसित, चौड़ा एवं चूषक होता है।	Foot Marchantia से अधिक बडा तथा विकसित होता है।
5.	Seta छोटा होता है तथा लम्बाई बढ़ाने में सहायक होता है।	Seta के स्थान पर एक intermediate zone उपस्थित होता है।
6.	Capsule अण्डाकार अथवा गोल होता है तथा इसका कार्य स्पोर पैदा करना होता है।	Capsule लम्बा तथा सीधा खड़ा हुआ होता है। इसका कार्य भी स्पोर पैदा करना होता है।
7.	Capsule की दीवार एक परत की होता है।	Capsule की दीवार परतों की बनी होती है। इसमें बाहर की परत एपिडर्मिस की होती है जिस पर कुछ रन्ध्र भी होते हैं। आर्किस्पोरियम एन्डोथीसियम से विकसित होती है।
8.	आर्किस्पोरियम एम्फीथीसियम से विकसित होती है।	Columella नहीं होती।
9.	Columella होती है।	कैप्सूल में elaters के स्थान पर pseudoelaters होते हैं।
